Behind every windshield is a human.
By Anant Tripathi • Founder, Setu
Like almost every car owner driving through Delhi-NCR and crowded Indian cities, I kept running into the same frustrating situations:
- Parking friction escalating into fights: Minor blockages in busy markets, society gates, or hospital lanes turning into abusive shouting matches within seconds.
- The dusty tissue paper problem: Drivers scribbling phone numbers on napkins or torn paper slips on dashboards — which fly away, fade in the heat, look messy, and force people to manually type 10 digits into their dialer.
Cars in traffic often feel like cold, anonymous metal boxes. It's easy to get angry at a bumper. But behind every windshield is a human — rushing to buy medicines, dropping their kid at school, or just stuck without a parking spot.
I built Setu because I wanted a dignified, polite bridge between two drivers. A way to say: “Hey, need to reach me? I'm probably not too far away.”
And because people who love their cars care deeply about how they look, we didn't make a cheap sticker. We crafted Setu with gold-accented, UV-resistant acrylic materials that look right at home on any dashboard — from a Mercedes or BMW to a Thar or Swift.
Thank you for trusting and supporting an independent Indian build.
